New anti-microbial gel!
This splint for Hallux Valgus helps keep the first radius of the foot in the correct position throughout the night.
Moreover, it softens the pain from the pressure of a bunion and it helps to stop its development.
Also recommended for a use duringpost-surgery following bunion removal.
COMPOSITION:
Semi-rigid plastic ferule.
Adjustable Velcro tape.
Contact surface made of latex foam rubber lined with cotton on one side and imitation leather on the other.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR ITS USE:
Place the corrector in the first interdigital space so the concave part of the ferule adapts to the edge of the first toe (between the 1st and 2nd toe).
The leather and foam band moves to apply it to the metatarsal, not on the joint.
The Velcro tape must go around the external part of the foot.
The adjustment is made with this velcro tape.
CARE AND RECOMMENDATIONS:
The joint should not be forced with the pain preventing rest.
Increase the base correction by regulating the pressure gradually so the joint and soft tissue move slowly into the new position.
If it’s bothersome, don’t wear it all night long the first few days.
If the pain persists, check with a specialist.
